Job Summary

The Production Head / GM will lead all plant operations to ensure smooth production, quality assurance, and maintenance of machinery in line with business goals. The role demands strong expertise in edible oil processing, refining, packaging, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management:

Plan, organize, and control production to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

l

Process Optimization:

Oversee refining, filtration, packaging, and storage processes ensuring minimal wastage and energy efficiency.

l

Quality Assurance:

Maintain product quality standards and coordinate with QA teams for regular testing.

l

Maintenance Coordination:

Ensure timely preventive maintenance of plant machinery to reduce downtime.

l

Inventory Control:

Monitor raw material, packaging material, and finished goods stock.

l

Team Leadership:

Supervise production supervisors, engineers, operators, and support staff.

l

Health & Safety:

Ensure adherence to workplace safety, hygiene, and environmental norms.

l

Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare production reports, cost analysis, and operational performance metrics.

l

Vendor & Liaison:

Coordinate with suppliers, local authorities, and regulatory bodies as required.

l

Strategic Planning:

Contribute to budgeting, plant expansion, and modernization initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

l B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Food Technology.

l 10-15 years of experience in edible oil manufacturing / refining / packaging plant operations.

l Proven leadership skills in managing large production teams.

l Sound knowledge of process automation, machinery, and plant utilities.

l Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹125,000.00 - ₹175,000.00 per month
