This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring smooth business operations, optimizing e-commerce performance, managing cross-functional teams, and streamlining administrative processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce operations, team leadership, and business administration.
Key Responsibilities: E-commerce Operations:
Oversee the complete online business operations including order management, fulfillment, logistics, and customer service.
Manage e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, Amazon, etc.) and ensure product listings, pricing, and content are up to date.
Analyze sales data and KPIs to optimize product performance and conversion rates
Coordinate with marketing teams to drive traffic, manage promotions, and ensure a seamless customer experience
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for restocking
Ensure proper handling of returns, refunds, and dispute resolutions
Administration & General Management:
Handle administrative tasks including HR coordination, vendor management, office operations, and legal compliance
Manage budgets, expenses, and financial reporting with support from finance/accounting teams
Develop and implement internal policies and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity
Supervise and support staff across departments (customer service, warehouse, admin, etc.)
Ensure compliance with company policies, data protection laws, and e-commerce regulations
Act as a key point of contact between departments and upper management
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, E-commerce, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Strong understanding of online retail platforms, logistics, and order fulfillment
Experience in managing administrative functions, HR processes, and office operations
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficient with tools such as MS Office, Google Workspace, and e-commerce backend systems
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with reporting tools (Google Analytics, Excel dashboards, etc.)
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, and CRM tools
Ability to multitask and manage multiple departments and stakeholders
Experience with ERP or inventory management systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
