Job Purpose:
As General Manager - Marketing, you will lead the
pan-India marketing strategy and execution
for SteppinOut. This includes building brand presence, driving ticketing revenue, managing media planning and design strategy, and leading a high-performing team across IPs. You'll play a central role in scaling SteppinOut's brand and ensuring its national recall and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Revenue Growth
Own end-to-end marketing strategy and execution (online & offline) for 10+ IPs across 15+ cities.
Drive
ticketing revenue
as a core KRA; optimize spends to deliver ROI-positive campaigns.
Create
detailed marketing playbooks and SOPs
for each IP; ensure consistency and excellence in execution.
Brand Building
Build long-term brand strategy for
SteppinOut and its event IPs
, growing them into national powerhouses.
Craft campaigns rooted in
strong customer understanding and CX insights
.
Media Planning & Creative
Lead
holistic media planning
across platforms and geographies, including agency/vendor coordination.
Drive performance marketing strategy and ROI-focused campaign execution.
Oversee creative development--campaign comms, design assets, presentations--with an eye for detail and creativity.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a team of
IP-specific marketing leads
, ensuring alignment with long-term brand and revenue goals.
Define and track team goals, campaign KPIs, and execution plans.
Strategic Vision & Communication
Define short-term and long-term roadmap for the marketing function.
Ensure effective
stakeholder communication
, with regular leadership visibility and upstream/downstream alignment.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
MBA from a
Tier 1 institute
with
6+ years of experience
in marketing/brand roles with national-level brands, event companies, or agencies.
Proven success in scaling
national campaigns and brand-building
initiatives.
Experience in
team leadership, CX research, and performance marketing.
Strategic thinker with strong
decision-making skills, creativity, and innovation mindset.
Ability to
navigate ambiguity
, influence stakeholders, and manage diverse campaigns across geographies.
Understanding of
both online and offline marketing ecosystems
is essential.
