Position: General Manager Sales Location: Varanasi Industry: Spare Parts Job Summary: Company is a leading player in the spare parts industry, and is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager - Sales to oversee and drive sales and distribution activities in Varanasi. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 15 years of robust experience in sales and distribution, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to manage a large team of Area Managers and Sales Executives. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share in Varanasi and surrounding areas.
Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of Area Managers and Sales Executives to ensure high performance and productivity.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including dealers, distributors, and retailers, to enhance the distribution network and optimize sales channels.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify business opportunities and formulate effective sales strategies.
Implement effective sales processes, policies, and procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, advertising strategies, and product launches to boost sales and brand visibility.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Provide timely and accurate forecasts, budget proposals, and sales projections to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Stay updated on industry developments, market trends, and emerging technologies to anticipate changes and adapt sales strategies accordingly
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in sales and distribution, preferably in the spare parts industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
