will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of a network of hospitals or clinics under the organization's brand. The GM will ensure consistent delivery of high-quality patient care, adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), financial performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across all units. This role demands a strong leader with healthcare management experience who can drive operational excellence, patient satisfaction, and team efficiency across multiple centers.
Educational Qualification: MBA Healthcare Management or equivalent degree.
Key Responsibilities:1. Operations & Service Delivery
Oversee day-to-day operations of all network hospitals/clinics ensuring seamless patient services and clinical excellence.
Monitor implementation of SOPs, quality standards, infection control, and safety protocols.
Conduct regular audits and ensure adherence to NABH or other accreditation standards.
Implement best practices in patient flow, staff utilization, and treatment protocols.
2. Financial & Business Performance
Develop and monitor unit-wise budgets, control operating costs, and maximize revenue generation.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like footfall, occupancy rate, OP/IP conversion, AR/DR collections, etc.
Identify new business opportunities, services, or specialties to improve profitability.
Coordinate with the finance department for financial reporting and compliance.
3. Team Management
Lead, train, and supervise the operations and clinical admin teams at each unit.
Coordinate with HR to ensure timely recruitment, training, and appraisal of hospital staff.
Resolve staff issues and improve employee engagement and retention across all hospitals.
4. Quality & Compliance
Ensure all network units comply with healthcare regulations, statutory licenses, and legal requirements.
Drive patient satisfaction by handling escalated grievances and ensuring resolution.
Lead continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives and prepare for audits and inspections.
5. Strategic Initiatives & Expansion
Support the leadership in expansion plans, onboarding new hospitals/clinics under the network.
Standardize processes across new and existing centers during scale-up.
Ensure a strong branding presence, uniform patient experience, and operational integration across all centers.
6. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Manage vendor relationships for outsourced services like housekeeping, diagnostics, pharmacy, etc.
Build strong communication with doctors, specialists, and consultants to ensure collaboration and service continuity.
Maintain relationships with external stakeholders like insurance TPAs, government health schemes, and corporates.
