As a Sales Strategy Head, your role is to develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets. You are responsible for analysing market trends, identifying potential opportunities, and creating plans to capitalize on them. Your primary focus is on optimizing the sales process, enhancing customer experience, increase the sales volumes to match the expanded capacities and maximising revenue.

Here are some key responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the role of a Sales Strategy Head:

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. This involves analysing market data, conducting competitor research, and identifying target customer segments. Sales Forecasting and Goal Setting: Use market research and historical data to set realistic sales targets. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to ensure goals are met or exceeded. Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape. Conduct market research to identify potential growth areas and market opportunities. Customer Relationship Management: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure effective customer relationship management. Develop strategies to enhance customer loyalty, satisfaction, and retention. Sales Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve the sales process to increase efficiency and productivity. Identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and implement tools or technologies that support sales effectiveness. Sales Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to the sales team on effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and market trends. Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills to meet sales targets. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and finance to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Maintain open communication channels to foster collaboration and teamwork. Performance Measurement and Analysis: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives.
