We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven General Manager - Sales to lead direct sales in the western region and manage company-wide sales operations. This dual-role position is ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about driving revenue, developing teams, and scaling sales in the B2B tech or industrial automation space.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations (50%)
Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives
Set sales targets, monitor KPIs, and drive performance across teams
Lead and mentor the sales team to foster a high-performance culture
Improve sales processes, tools, and reporting systems
Coordinate closely with marketing to support lead generation and conversion
Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs
Direct Sales - Western Region (50%)
Identify, engage, and convert potential B2B clients across industries
Conduct outreach via networking, events, and digital channels
Deliver tailored sales presentations and product demos
Handle customer queries, negotiate terms, and close deals
Maintain strong post-sale relationships and grow existing accounts
Stay up to date on industry trends and customer needs
Key Skills & Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in B2B sales and sales operations, ideally in IoT, automation, or industrial sectors
Strong track record in managing sales teams and achieving targets
Background in engineering with a degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Tier 1 institutions preferred)
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in CRM tools and G Suite/MS Office
Fluent in English and Hindi
Willingness to travel extensively across the western region (50%+)
