Client is an iron ore mining and processing company out of India that approaches its operations in a sustainable and eco-friendly manner.
An Ideal Candidate:
As a General Manager (GM) for Operations in a Pellet plant will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily plant operations, from production and maintenance to safety and staff management.
Key Competencies:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to improve production processes, optimize resource allocation, and align with company goals.
• Daily Operations: Manage day-to-day activities, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the plant and production of high-quality pellets.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure the plant adheres to all relevant safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Budget and Resource Management: Oversee the plant's budget, manage inventory, and allocate resources effectively.
• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop plant staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Maintenance and Equipment: Coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of plant machinery to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency, working with the plant and machinery team.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed to meet production and quality targets.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to ensure operational initiatives are integrated and successful
