Job Description

1. POSITION OBJECTIVE

The General Manager (Corporate Level) is responsible for overseeing the strategic, financial, and operational performance of the company. The role ensures alignment between corporate goals and departmental execution, driving efficiency, profitability, and sustainable growth across all business units.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement corporate strategies and policies aligned with company vision.

Lead organizational change, modernization, and digital transformation programs.

Monitor market trends and recommend business development strategies.

B. Operational Excellence

Oversee daily operations across departments--projects, finance, HR, procurement, and client services.

Ensure consistent adherence to corporate standards, policies, and compliance requirements.

Review key performance indicators (KPIs) for all divisions and ensure corrective actions.

Drive cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.

C. Financial & Commercial Management

Ensure revenue growth, cost control, and profit margin optimization.

Approve major expenditures,project contracts.

Liaise with auditors, banks, and statutory authorities as needed.

D. Human Resource & Leadership Development

Build a strong leadership pipeline by mentoring department heads and senior managers.

Ensure effective succession planning and performance appraisal systems.

Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

E. Client, Partner & Stakeholder Relations

Maintain strong corporate relationships with key clients, partners, vendors, and government bodies.

Represent the company in corporate meetings, industry events, and negotiations.

Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and corporate reputation.

F. Corporate Governance & Compliance

Ensure full compliance with legal, financial, and safety regulations.

Maintain transparency and ethical standards in all corporate operations.

Submit regular performance and compliance reports to the Managing Director/Board.
