General Manager

for our reputed Client into pharmaceutical contract manufacturing, engaged in high-quality formulation manufacturing for reputed pharma brands. Plz find position details below.

Position: General Manager

Location: Thane (Ghodbunder road)

Requisites:

B.Pharm / M.Pharm / MBA (Operations / Pharma Management preferred). Minimum

10 years of relevant experience

in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least

3-5 years in a leadership role

. Strong knowledge of

pharma manufacturing processes, regulatory norms, and quality systems

. Proven ability to handle

P&L responsibility and strategic decision-making

. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on approach to operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Operations & Production Management

Oversee day-to-day plant operations ensuring production targets and quality standards are met. Coordinate with production, QA/QC, purchase, and logistics teams for smooth workflow. Monitor efficiency, minimize wastage, and ensure cost-effective production.

2. Strategic Planning & Business Growth

Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans for business expansion. Identify new contract manufacturing opportunities and partnerships. Analyze market trends and contribute to product and business diversification strategies.

3. Quality & Compliance

Ensure compliance with GMP, WHO, and other regulatory requirements. Liaise with regulatory bodies, auditors, and external stakeholders for approvals and inspections. Maintain documentation and quality standards across all departments.

4. Financial & Budgetary Control

Prepare annual budgets and ensure adherence to financial targets. Monitor P&L, optimize operational costs, and ensure profitability. Approve major purchases and contracts within delegated authority.

5. Leadership & Team Development

Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals. Foster a performance-driven, ethical, and collaborative work culture. Build leadership pipelines and succession planning within the team.

6. Client & Stakeholder Management

Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new business associations. Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely delivery and quality assurance.
