Role Overview
Overseeing and strengthening day-to-day operational execution across branches, loan processing, disbursements, documentation, compliance coordination, and vendor management.

, working closely with the Managing Director to ensure operational efficiency, process adherence, and timely delivery across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Oversee end-to-end loan operations including application processing, documentation, disbursement coordination, and post-disbursement activities
Ensure smooth functioning of branch operations and back-office teams
Monitor turnaround times (TATs) and improve operational efficiency
Process & SOP Implementation
Implement and enforce SOPs across operations and branches
Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement
Ensure consistent execution across locations
Compliance & Coordination
Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants on RBI, statutory, and audit requirements
Ensure operational compliance with NBFC regulations, internal policies, and Fair Practices Code
Support audits and inspections from an operations standpoint
Team & Vendor Management
Supervise operations staff and branch support teams
Coordinate with vendors such as legal, valuation, IT, collection, and documentation partners
Ensure accountability, discipline, and performance tracking
Reporting & MIS
Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly MIS on operations, disbursements, pendency, and escalations
Provide actionable insights to the Managing Director
Founder Support
Act as the execution arm for MD-assigned operational initiatives
Track follow-ups, deadlines, and cross-functional dependencies
Desired Candidate ProfileExperience
8-15 years of experience in NBFCs, banks, or financial services
Strong exposure to loan operations (secured lending preferred)
Prior experience handling branch or multi-location operations is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
Strong operational discipline and execution mindset
Good understanding of NBFC processes and compliance environment
Ability to manage teams, vendors, and multiple priorities
Clear communication and follow-up skills
Comfortable working in a founder-driven, fast-moving environment
Education
Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
MBA / professional qualification is a plus but not mandatory
