20 years of leadership experience
in managing production, maintenance, supply chain, quality, manpower, safety, and cost optimization. He will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring productivity, and aligning plant performance with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership
Oversee day-to-day plant operations including production, quality control, inventory, and dispatch.
Drive productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across all departments.
Plan and execute production schedules to meet business targets.
Strategic Planning
Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business goals.
Plan capacity utilization, technology upgrades, and expansion as per future demand.
Manpower Management
Lead a large team of workers, supervisors, engineers, and department heads.
Ensure proper staffing, training, performance evaluation, and motivation of employees.
Supply Chain & Inventory
Coordinate with procurement, stores, and logistics for uninterrupted material flow.
Optimize inventory levels and ensure minimum stock-outs or excesses.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) norms, and company policies.
Drive ISO, safety audits, and other compliance-related initiatives.
Quality Assurance
Collaborate with QA/QC teams to maintain product standards and reduce rework/rejection.
Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, TPM, etc.)
Reporting & Coordination
Prepare MIS reports and present plant performance to management.
Coordinate with other departments like Sales, Finance, R&D, HR for cross-functional objectives.
Key Requirements:
Minimum
20 years of experience
in manufacturing operations, including at least
5+ years in a leadership role
.
Proven track record of handling full factory operations (preferably with 300+ workforce).
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience in ERP systems and modern manufacturing practices.
Exposure to cost control, automation, quality standards, and regulatory compliances.
