Role Overview


The General Manager will be responsible for the strategic leadership, operational oversight, and guest satisfaction at both resorts. This individual will lead cross-functional teams, manage daily operations, ensure financial targets are met, and uphold brand standards. Reporting directly to the Directors, this is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can balance vision with execution.

Key Responsibilities


- Multi-Property Oversight: Supervise operations at both resorts, ensuring seamless coordination, consistent service quality, and adherence to brand identity.
- Leadership & Team Building: Lead department heads across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, HR, and Reservations. Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on training, motivation, and accountability.
- Sales & Marketing Coordination: Collaborate with the sales and reservations team to drive enquiries, boost conversions, and enhance occupancy across seasons.
- Guest Experience Management: Oversee reservations, pre-arrival services, guest feedback, and service recovery. Maintain high guest satisfaction scores.
- Revenue Management & Cost Control: Monitor budgets, tariffs, expenses, and purchasing to ensure profitability while maintaining four-star standards.
- SOP & Quality Standards: Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures. Conduct training and audits to maintain excellence in service and compliance.
- Facility & Maintenance Oversight: Ensure timely maintenance and upkeep of resort infrastructure, utilities, and guest-facing amenities.
- Human Resources Supervision: Support recruitment, performance management, and staff welfare in coordination with HR. Ensure smooth team functioning and staff retention.
- Regulatory & Safety Compliance: Ensure both resorts comply with legal, safety, food hygiene, and tourism regulations.
- Reporting to Directors: Provide structured reports on performance, financials, occupancy, team updates, and recommendations for improvement.
- External Representation: Build relationships with travel agents, vendors, tourism bodies, and local authorities. Represent the group's interests in the local market.

Qualifications & Experience


- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management.
- 15-20 years of hospitality experience with at least 8 years in a senior managerial role.
- Strong understanding of resort operations and guest service dynamics, especially in premium leisure destinations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team development and multi-department coordination.
- Commercial awareness with proven ability in budgeting, cost control, and business strategy.
- Experience with hotel management software and PMS tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and late nights, as required by operational needs.

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
