Role Description





Construction Manager

Varies by project

Responsible for execution of construction activities for the project as per plan



Planning Engineer

Varies by project

Responsible to plan and oversee the entire project work ensuring that construction is completed as per timelines and technical standards



Quantity Surveyor

Varies by project

Responsible for establishing and managing all cost of installation, materials and workmanships. The role holder seeks to minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality



Safety Engineer

Varies by project

Responsible for fostering safety policies, procedures, codes and standards which can be used to integrate safety performance into the goals, operations and productivity of projects



Site Engineer/ Supervisor

Varies by project

Responsible for providing assistance in supervising and coordinating the on-site activities on a day to day basis



Store Keeper

Varies by project

Responsible for all operations activities including shipping and receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting transactions, maintaining records, and overseeing storage of surplus inventory and property

Ensures continuous value engineering initiatives to effect cost reduction and cost effectiveness of each resource Prepares and monitor project budgets

Determines appropriate revenue recognition model, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project

Analyses projects profitability, revenue, margins, bill rate and utilization on a regular basis




Customer



Communicates effectively with customers to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions

Keeps all internal stakeholders updated of project status at all times

Ensures project progress as per plan to enhance customer satisfaction Prepares project responsibility chart and communicates to all project staff

Supports and provides guidance to the internal project team




Internal Process/Internal Process/Operations



Leads the planning and implementation of project

Ensures project execution in line with project management process

Defines and monitors project tasks, resource requirement, cycle time and productivity norms Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis

Ensures project legal documents are completed and signed

Assembles and coordinates project staff and manages project resource allocation

Implements and manages project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs

Ensures project evaluations, assessment of results and addresses issues as appropriate

Reviews drawings prepared by the Engineering department and provides them the necessary feedback based on the site conditions

Arranges prompt and timely handover of the project to the client

Assists in establishing the project knowledge management system
