The Role
This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially driven professional with strong technical and operational expertise in logistics and marine services. The successful candidate will oversee business performance, strengthen customer and vendor partnerships, and lead a high-performing team to deliver sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and grow the marine logistics business in India, ensuring profitability, service excellence, and operational efficiency.
Execute strategic business plans aligned with regional objectives, keeping senior management informed of progress.
Drive new revenue streams through service innovation, partnerships, and strategic client engagement.
Build relationships with Oil Majors, Government Agencies, Port Authorities, and key industry stakeholders to strengthen market influence.
Establish and expand technical and ship management services, including vessel repairs, conversions, and regional support for small-to-mid-sized vessel owners.
Manage full P&L accountability, targeting sustainable growth and strong ROI through cost optimisation and investment planning.
Champion digital transformation and data-driven processes to enhance efficiency, visibility, and customer value.
Develop future-ready teams through leadership, talent development, and a performance-driven culture.
Uphold governance, compliance, and safety standards with zero-LTI and full ISO adherence.
What We're Looking For
15+ years of experience in logistics or marine operations, with at least 5 years each in business development and operations leadership.
Proven experience managing large teams (30+ staff) and multiple P&L responsibilities.
A Master's degree in Shipping, Logistics, or Engineering preferred.
Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of India's marine and O&G ecosystem.
Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinker, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
