Job Description

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end plant operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, quality, and alignment with business goals. This leadership role requires strong operational expertise, people management skills, and a proven background in the beer manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage daily brewery operations to achieve production, quality, and delivery targets. Increase production capacity, optimize resources, and minimize costs while maintaining quality standards. Oversee production output, product quality, and on-time shipping. Implement strategic initiatives and provide clear direction to teams. Monitor operations, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions. Build, manage, and develop a high-performing plant workforce. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement systems for tracking productivity, performance metrics, and cost efficiency. Collaborate with QA teams to resolve product quality concerns. Manage plant budgets, forecasts, and expense controls. Drive process improvements, innovation, and lean manufacturing practices to enhance efficiency. Handle employee concerns and maintain positive industrial relations.

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of experience in

Beer Manufacturing Industry

, preferably as

Assistant Plant Head/Operations Head/Assistant Manager

or in a similar leadership role. Strong knowledge of brewery production processes, quality control, and safety standards. Proven leadership and interpersonal skills to manage a diverse workforce. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills. Experience in process optimization, cost control, and lean manufacturing practices. Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance, and best practices. Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and communication software.
