Role Overview

The General Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership, operational excellence, and profitability of a manufacturing unit with an annual turnover of

?75-100 Crores

. The role demands a seasoned professional with strong manufacturing expertise, proven people-management capability, and the ability to align operations with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership across all manufacturing functions including Production, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Marketing, HR, and Administration Ensure consistent achievement of production, quality, cost, delivery, and safety targets Lead, mentor, and manage a workforce of

150-200 employees

, including senior management and functional heads Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity enhancement, cost optimization, and waste reduction Oversee budgeting, cost control, and performance monitoring in coordination with Finance and Corporate teams Ensure compliance with all statutory, labour, safety, and environmental regulations Establish and monitor KPIs, operational dashboards, and performance review systems Handle audits, customer escalations, internal reviews, and crisis situations effectively Foster a culture of accountability, discipline, operational excellence, and employee engagement

Experience & Eligibility

Total Experience:

20-25 years experience in good companies, including manufacturing/ Service sector.

Relevant Experience:

5-8 years in a General Manager or equivalent senior leadership role

Turnover Exposure:

Mandatory experience managing operations in a

?75-100 Crore turnover organization

Manpower Handling:

Proven experience managing

150-200 employees

Industry Exposure:

Manufacturing experience is essential

Age Criteria:

48-52 years
