Duties
Lead and supervise all restaurant or hotel operations, including food preparation, serving, and customer service.
Manage staff schedules, recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a motivated and efficient team.
Oversee food safety compliance and ensure adherence to health regulations and standards.
Coordinate food production processes, ensuring high-quality culinary standards are maintained.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to optimise profitability.
Develop and implement operational policies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly to maintain excellent service standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff on menu planning and special event organisation.
Maintain a welcoming environment that promotes hospitality and team spirit.
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management.
Experience in restaurant management or hotel operations is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and food production processes.
Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous but not essential.
Demonstrated ability to oversee culinary activities while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
