This includes strategic planning, business development, product sourcing, sales growth, and profitability. The GM will drive the division's market share and brand presence by developing strong partnerships with suppliers, distributors, and retail channels.
Key Responsibilities:1. Business Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies to grow the Mobile Accessories and IT Products business.
Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to define pricing, product mix, and go-to-market strategies.
Set annual budgets, sales forecasts, and profit targets for the division.
2. Sales & Marketing Management
Drive sales performance across all channels (retail, distribution, e-commerce, B2B).
Design promotional campaigns and brand-building initiatives in coordination with marketing teams.
Establish key partnerships with major brands, resellers, and online platforms.
Monitor sales data, customer feedback, and market share to optimize sales strategy.
3. Product & Vendor Management
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and product lines (mobile accessories, peripherals, IT hardware, gadgets).
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal margins.
Manage product lifecycle, inventory levels, and SKU rationalization.
Ensure timely launch of new products and alignment with global tech trends.
4. Operations & Supply Chain
Oversee procurement, logistics, warehousing, and inventory management to maintain stock availability and minimize costs.
Implement systems for demand forecasting, replenishment, and order fulfillment.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations.
5. Financial Management
Monitor division P&L, cash flow, and working capital.
Control costs and maximize ROI through effective budget management.
Prepare regular management reports and present performance insights to senior leadership.
6. Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop sales, marketing, and operations teams.
Build a performance-driven culture focused on results and innovation.
Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training programs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
10+ years
of experience in
mobile accessories, consumer electronics, or IT products
industry, with at least
5 years in a senior management role.
Strong knowledge of distribution channels, retail operations, and e-commerce.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing P&L.
Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
