About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager / Senior Manager to oversee the entire hotel operations at our flagship property in Motera, Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing upscale or luxury hotels, delivering exceptional guest experiences, leading high-performance teams, and optimizing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage all heads of departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Sales, HR, Maintenance, etc.)
Set a strong example in professionalism, customer service, and operational discipline.
Guest Experience:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering personalized, seamless service.
Handle VIP guests, complaints, and escalations with promptness and discretion.
Operational Oversight:
Oversee daily hotel operations ensuring smooth coordination across all departments.
Maintain standards in hygiene, safety, and hospitality best practices.
Business Strategy & Performance:
Achieve and exceed revenue, occupancy, and profit targets.
Monitor market trends, analyze performance metrics, and implement strategic decisions.
Sales & Marketing:
Coordinate with the sales and marketing team to attract corporate and leisure guests.
Foster partnerships with local tourism boards, travel agencies, and event planners.
Financial & Budgeting:
Prepare and manage operational budgets and forecasts.
Monitor expenses and ensure financial controls are in place.
Compliance & Governance:
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all areas of hotel operation.
Oversee safety, health, and environmental protocols.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality / Business Administration (MBA preferred).
Minimum 20 years of experience in the hotel industry, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong understanding of hotel operations, customer service, and revenue management.
Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and manage multi-department functions.
Hands-on experience in pre-opening, repositioning, or large-scale renovation projects is a plus.
Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English, Hindi, and Gujarati preferred.
