The General Manager will be responsible for the overall operations, planning, and execution of company functions, with a strong focus on event management. This role requires leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage teams, resources, and client requirements effectively. The GM will ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the company while driving growth, efficiency, and high-quality event delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Oversight
Oversee day-to-day company operations and ensure smooth workflow.
Allocate duties and monitor performance of employees across functions.
Ensure proper reporting by drivers, security staff, and outsourced manpower.
Assign roasters and maintain discipline within the workforce as per the HR Policies
2. Event Planning & Coordination
Lead and manage the planning, execution, and coordination of events.
Allocate teams for specific events and ensure backend support is in place.
Develop and monitor production plans to meet deadlines and client requirements.
Supervise logistics and transport arrangements for events.
3. Procurement & Resource Management
Approve material purchases and ensure cost-effective procurement.
Manage warehouse space utilization and maintain inventory efficiency.
Oversee maintenance of company assets, including vehicles and equipment, ensuring all documents are updated.
4. Company Development & Strategy
Drive company growth through process improvements and new initiatives.
Ensure overall company upkeep, maintenance, and new development projects.
Provide support in event costing and production planning to ensure profitability.
5. Leadership & Team Management
Provide strong leadership, guidance, and support to teams.
Ensure effective coordination between departments for successful event delivery.
Build, train, and manage manpower resources for operational efficiency.
