Description:
This role is responsible for financial accounting, budgeting, MIS, statutory compliances and treasury, Accounts receivables and payables for all Raintree Group entities. This is a critical role where the GM - Finance will ensure complying with all the accounting policies, timely MIS and statutory payments and filings.
Responsibilities:
Raintree Group
Maintaining the books of accounts, regularly publishing the financial statements and Management Reports for all group companies.
Reporting the cashflows and ensuring the adequacy of funds with each entity from time to time.
Setting up the internal controls and table of authority with the help of the Group CFO and ensuring the compliance.
Preparing Business Plans and annual budgets, ensure the budgetary controls and report the actual performance and variances on a monthly basis.
Finalisation of books of accounts for all entities and timely completion of audits and filings.
Maintaining the financial accounts of the trusts and other entities and ensuring all the compliances for the same.
Maintain proper record of fixed assets with periodic verifications.
Anchoring compliance and governance activities and requirements for existing and any new future entities set up under the Raintree Group.
Raintree Family Office
Recording all investment related transactions on timely basis
Managing the cashflow for operations and for investment activities.
Building a proper MIS for reporting to the CEO and the Founders.
Maintaining all investment records, share certificates and other important documents in safe custody.
Work with the auditors and tax advisors for compliances.
Raintree Foundation
Effectively managing the finances of the Foundation to achieve organisational goals.
Supporting the CEO for fundraising by providing financial data, research reports and the existing programme details from time to time.
Supporting the CEO with processes, compliances, and reporting, for listing the Foundation's projects on and raising funds through the Social Stock Exchange.
Monitoring cash flows and budgets and managing the financial MIS and financial reporting for the Foundation.
Working closely with the Group CFO to manage compliance, regulatory requirements and reporting.
Setting up and monitoring a governance framework to ensure transparency in reporting.
EITHR
Complete financial accounting and compliance support to the new business
Monitoring cash flows and budgets and managing the financial MIS and financial planning and reporting for EITHR.
Building a Business Plan with the CEO and prepare financial model for presentation to external investors
Working closely with the CEO to manage compliance, regulatory requirements and reporting.
Supporting the company to commercialize the product offering from a financial standpoint and to make it ready for future investment.
Candidate Profile
MBA/Masters in Finance / qualified CA or any other equivalent professional certification
Minimum 7+ years of experience in finance/corporate finance in financial services or non-for-profit organisation or service industry
Skills and Competencies
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Ability to liaison with state and central government departments and officials
Ability to develop effective MIS for decision-making
Ability to think independently and analytically
Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal direct supervision while being a committed team player
