Role Summary

Tetra Edge Infra is seeking an experienced General Manager - Civil to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-rise residential, commercial, and industrial building projects. The role demands strong leadership, strategic execution capability, and deep technical knowledge in RCC and steel construction, ensuring projects are delivered with quality, safety, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

Lead end-to-end execution of large-scale building projects from planning to handover

Ensure projects are delivered as per approved drawings, specifications, timelines, and budgets

Oversee multiple project sites and ensure smooth coordination across functions

Team Leadership & Coordination

Lead Project Managers, Planning Engineers, Site Engineers, QA/QC, Procurement, Safety, and Stores teams

Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and performance direction to project teams

Ensure effective manpower planning and optimal utilization of resources

Planning, Cost Control & Monitoring

Review project schedules, budgets, and cash flow forecasts

Monitor cost, productivity, and progress to avoid overruns

Identify value engineering and cost optimization opportunities

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and statutory regulations

Oversee implementation of QA/QC systems and site safety procedures

Ensure compliance with approvals, audits, and regulatory requirements

Client & Stakeholder Management

Act as the key interface with clients, consultants, architects, and authorities

Conduct regular review meetings and report project status to senior management

Handle variations, escalations, and critical project issues effectively

Procurement & Vendor Oversight

Oversee procurement strategy for construction materials, subcontractors, and vendors

Support finalization of vendors, contracts, and commercial negotiations

Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely material availability

Reporting & Risk Management

Review MIS reports, progress dashboards, and project performance indicators

Identify risks and implement corrective and preventive measures

Support management in strategic planning and business growth initiatives

Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management skills

Proven experience in high-rise RCC and steel structure projects

Excellent coordination, negotiation, and communication abilities

Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and project controls

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualification & Experience

B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in large building projects

Exposure to projects 10 floors and above is mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?150,000.00 - ?200,000.00 per month
