Job Description

A chemical industry General Manager (GM) oversees all aspects of a chemical manufacturing or related business, ensuring efficient operations, profitability, and strategic growth. This role involves leading teams, managing budgets, developing and implementing strategies, and maintaining high safety and quality standards. Essentially, they are responsible for the overall success of the business unit they manage. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

Developing and implementing long-term business strategies, setting goals, and ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.

Operations Management:

Overseeing daily operations, including production, quality control, supply chain management, and logistics, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

Financial Management:

Managing budgets, analyzing financial performance, and making decisions to optimize profitability and resource allocation.

Team Leadership:

Recruiting, training, and managing a team of professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.

Business Development:

Identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and expanding market share.

Project Management:

Overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects, including new product development, process improvements, and facility upgrades.

Quality Control:
