ABC fruits are a leading manufacturer and exporter of fruit puree, pulps and concentrates in India. We specialize in processing Mango, Guava, Papaya and Tomato. Our organization was founded in 1997 with a small-scale canning unit in Kandili. An aseptic line was installed with double effect evaporator in 2003 with a capacity of producing 4 tons per hour and subsequently capacity was increased by 6 tons per hour in 2007. In 2010 we build a new processing unit in Bargur with state of
the art facilities with two aseptic lines and one triple effect evaporate with 10 ton per hour capacity. Today we are one of the largest fruit processors and exporter in India with combined capacity of 30 Ton per hour. We annually process 50,000 MT of single strength finished product and growing rapidly. We aim to be one of the leading food solutions organization that caters to rapidly growing, global processed food markets.
Description: Job Purpose : - To achieve targeted production of VAP products at the Unit within budgeted cost meeting product specifications, safety and statutory requirements in alignment with business mission and EVA targets and also upgrade technology/processes/products as per customer needs through in-house researchKey Area of contribution + Accountability StatementSupporting Actions
Production/Operations: Plan and mobilize resources for plant operation Monitor and Implement production processes and ensure marketing schedules are also met Coordinate to ensure optimum plant performance for achieving targets Monitor plant performance parameters on daily basis and take immediate corrective actions if required Ensure implementation of set operation parameters and consumption norms Motivate team for making improvement through initiatives Monitor following of Standard Operating Procedures Share management decisions/plans down the line for better execution Follow up and monitor input material with material department Ensure effective result by co-ordination with service department Identifying process debottlenecking Implementation of improvement through DPR, Weekly, Monthly reviewsOperational efficiency & Continuous Improvement: Monitor and analyze the process conditions to improve the operational efficiency and energy conservation to achieve higher productivity Review the performance against set targets Optimize the equipment loading for maximum through put Analyze the process parameters and simulate it in various conditions Search internet for latest development and technology changes in the world and formulate schemes accordingly Apply different problem solving tools to reduce the breakdowns Strictly monitor process parameter deviations Debottleneck and follow SOPs to avoid any damages Maintain the shift activities and monitor timely preparation of Daily reports Plan for maintenance & shutdowns in coordination with Maintenance department Support the team in resource management Lead the CFT within company and group for product lead New product development and re-engineering with existing for customer and servicesProduct Quality & Customer Service
Support for implementation of agreed process parameters for quality requirements as per customer needs Close monitoring of process and quality parameters Maintain products quality parameters as per marketing requirements (within process limits) Oversee the implementation of corrective actions to remove customer complaints Provide necessary support to customers and Initiate corrective actions Leading and quality import Project Ensure redressal of customer complaintPlanning, Budgeting, Cost Control & Synergies:
To study and prepare the P&B scheme of the VAP plants and timely implementation of various CAPEX schemes through co-ordination with engineering department Achieve budgeted cost of production i.e. power consumption, chemical consumption, utilities, etc. Enforce Standard Operating Procedures Identify and implement potential cost saving areas, improvement areas Take steps for effective control of inventory Make optimum utilization of Group resources Control of overtime and implement rationalization of manpower Implementation of cost optimisation in structured manner with formal reviewSystem Management (Safety, Sustainability & WCM): Monitor adherence to statutory compliance related to Safety, Health and Environment & Sustainability Review audit reports and plan for improvement Plan, review & monitor corrective action for internal customer compliances. Monitor processes for accident free operations/ Maintenance and compliance of all safety requirements as stipulated by the Factories Act & environment related statutory requirements Monitor adherence to safety norms & safe operational procedures Facilitate statutory testing of vessels Monitor compliance to effluent norms set by pollution board Ensure safe working conditions & practices.Ensure implementation of safety procedures, audit point's measures & ensure training on safety measures Comply with factory, boiler, and environmental related statutory requirements Encourage employees for participation in Kaizen, Suggestion Scheme, etc. and ensure implementation of audit findings Supervision and giving support Technology Scanning, Mapping and enabling innovation & improvement Benchmarking Raw Material, finished product & processesPeople Development:
Maintain a congenial work culture by effective management of people to improve productivity, growth & motivation levels of employees to institutionalize best organizing practices in the Unit Set performance targets & KRAs and conduct performance assessment, training need identification of team members and communicate role clarity to each one Maintain discipline and grievance handling of the team Inculcate in team the group values/policies/ vision/ mission & objectives Motivate employees for stretch targets through team building and two-way communication Co-ordinate with HR Team for monitoring the development of team Recommend trainings for skill development and ensure development of team members Plan for career development for subordinates Implement HR practices and maintain shop floor discipline Oversee the training is being given to identified persons for reducing skill gap Develop the team members for Talent Retention Provide technical support to team on various issues Monitor the deployment of manpower resources, with the intention of controlling OT without affecting the smooth running of plant Take lead for multi skilling by deploying man power for task oriented jobsJob Type: Regular / PermanentSalary: ?75,000.00 - ?85,000.00 per monthBenefits:
