Role Overview
The
General Manager - B2B Academics
will lead partnerships with schools, colleges, universities, and academic institutions to expand our academic engagement and solutions. The role demands strong relationship-building, strategic planning, and the ability to design scalable programs for students and institutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to expand partnerships with universities, colleges, and schools.
Create
B2B academic tie-ups
for student housing, training programs, and academic support services.
Collaborate with institutions for
student engagement programs, internships, and skill-building workshops
.
Negotiate MoUs, service contracts, and long-term institutional partnerships.
Identify academic trends and design solutions aligned with the needs of institutions and students.
Work closely with marketing and operations teams to deliver value to partner institutions.
Represent the company at academic fairs, seminars, and conferences.
Track KPIs and ensure consistent business growth from institutional collaborations.
Requirements
Master's degree in Business, Education Management, or related field.
8-12 years of experience in
B2B academic partnerships, institutional sales, or higher education sector
.
Proven track record of building successful academic tie-ups.
Strong understanding of the Indian higher education ecosystem.
Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
Ability to design and execute student-focused programs with institutions.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
