JD for the post of General Manager Operations for Ahmedabad.DesignationGeneral Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Operations & AdministrationLevelSenior Level of ManagementVerticalOperationsAdministrative & Functional ReportingMDWe undertake various O&M, Cargo Handling, Internal Transportation and other contracts with large corporations at different locations in India. The GM Operations will be responsible for managing the works as a profit center head from HO and also look after Admin and HR Functions at HO.Primary Responsibilities1. To ensure day-to-day operations are carried out as per service level agreements - (SLA).2. To create and manage reporting systems for effective management and control3. To ensure the availability of equipment, plant and machinery by coordinating proper maintenance4. To establish proper liaison with principals and clients for the proper execution of work5. To prepare the budget and to ensure that operations are carried out as per the budget6. To work out costings for tenders and quotations.7. Manpower planning and overall management of HR.8. To ensure HR / IR issues are addressed by active liaison with local authorities and politicians etc.Secondary Responsibilities1. Coordination of purchase for spares and consumables.2. Ensure all safety HSEs compliances are met with and work is carried out with the highest safety standards.3. Carry out regular performance assessments of the team as per the SOP.4. General administration of all locations.Education QualificationPreferably Engineer with MBAExperience10 - 15 Years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as head of operations / productionSkills RequiredFunctional:\xc2\xb7 Efficient in handling O&M, port cargo handling & transportation etc.\xc2\xb7 Proper understanding of costing and budget.\xc2\xb7 Conversant with Labour and Commercial LawsIT Skills:\xc2\xb7 MS Office ( Specially in Advance Excel)Behavioral:\xc2\xb7 Interpersonal Skills\xc2\xb7 Leadership\xc2\xb7 Organizational & time management skills\xc2\xb7 Good communication\xc2\xb7 Quick Decision MakingLanguagesEnglish, Hindi & GujaratiCompensation16 to 18 Lakhs per annumLocationAhmedabad
