Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to supervise daily operations, manage a high-performing accounting team, and ensure accurate and timely financial processes. The ideal candidate will motivate team members, drive process improvements, and maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations. Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met. Manage accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities. Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities. Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships. Monitor team performance and report key metrics. Identify training needs and provide coaching for team members. Handle team feedback, resolve issues or conflicts, and maintain a positive work culture. Recognize high performance and encourage creativity and innovation. Organize team-building initiatives to improve collaboration. Implement process improvements for better efficiency and client satisfaction. Support transition activities including documentation and participation in calls. Assist in interviewing and hiring during the setup of new teams.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP). Prior experience in general accounting roles. Proficiency in accounting software and tools. Previous experience in team handling is mandatory. Prior transition experience is an added advantage. 8+ years of experience in Accounting and Financial Services.
