Global Accounting - General Ledger Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

General Ledger (GL) Executive

to support global accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in

fixed assets accounting, depreciation, accruals, and month-end close

processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage

General Ledger accounts

for global entities Handle

Fixed Assets accounting

, including capitalization, transfers, disposals, and asset tagging Calculate and post

monthly depreciation

as per accounting policies Prepare and review

journal entries, accruals, and provisions

Perform

month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing

activities Reconcile

GL balances, fixed asset registers, and depreciation schedules

Support

audit requirements

(internal and external) related to GL and fixed assets Ensure compliance with

IFRS / US GAAP / company accounting policies

Coordinate with AP, AR, and intercompany teams for accurate postings Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3.5+ years of experience in

General Ledger / Global Accounting

Strong knowledge of

Fixed Assets & Depreciation accounting

Experience in

accruals, provisions, and reconciliations

Hands-on experience with

ERP systems

(SAP / Oracle / NetSuite / Dynamics) Good understanding of

month-end close processes

Proficiency in

MS Excel

Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a

shared services / global accounting environment

Exposure to

IFRS or US GAAP

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹283,213.42 - ₹739,400.34 per year
