Position Details: o Job Title: General Insurance Sales Executive o Department: Business Development / General Insurance o Location: Hyderabad (Field-Based Role) o Employment Type: Full Time o Experience: 3 Years (Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services preferred) o Education: Graduate (Commerce / Finance preferred) o Salary Range: ₹25,000 - ?30,000 per month (based on experience) About Earnix: Earnix is a young and dynamic financial services company, founded with the vision of making holistic financial planning simple and accessible. About the Role: The General Insurance Sales Executive will be responsible for driving business growth by generating leads, meeting clients, and closing insurance sales across corporates, SMEs, hospitals, and manufacturing units. This is a field-based role requiring proactive client interaction, market awareness, and a consultative selling approach. Core Responsibilities: 1. Visit institutions, SMEs, and corporate offices to identify insurance needs. 2. Collect client requirements, coordinate internally for quotes, and present suitable solutions. 3. Explain coverage terms, exclusions, and premiums clearly to clients. 4. Manage end-to-end policy closures, from proposal to issuance. 5. Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and business events (BNI-style) for lead generation. 6. Maintain CRM records, follow up regularly, and submit daily activity reports. Other Responsibilities: o Prospecting & Networking: Identify new business through cold calls, referrals, and networking. Build relationships with HR, admin heads, CFOs, and decision-makers. o Cross-Selling & Upselling: Suggest additional insurance products like health, fire, liability, or motor insurance. Ensure renewals and portfolio retention. o Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor offerings, pricing, and coverage trends to improve product positioning. o Compliance & Documentation: Ensure accurate collection of KYC, proposal forms, and compliance documentation. o Performance: Achieve assigned sales targets and maintain a healthy lead conversion ratio. Skills & Attributes: o Excellent communication and presentation skills (ability to explain complex terms simply). o Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship management skills. o Knowledge of general insurance products (health, fire, marine, liability, motor). o Self-driven, disciplined, and able to work independently. o Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and professional email communication. o Willingness to travel within the city/state for client meetings. Requirements: o Graduate in any discipline (Commerce/Finance preferred). o Minimum 1-5 years of field sales experience (insurance/banking preferred). o Must not have a personal IRDA code under self or family. o Willing to work with utmost transparency and integrity.
