Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist nursing staff with patient care activities such as feeding, bathing, dressing, mobility, and comfort. Help in transporting patients, medical equipment, and samples within departments. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in wards, corridors, and patient areas. Change bed linen, prepare rooms for new admissions, and assist in discharges. Support infection control procedures and biomedical waste segregation as per hospital standards. Report patient concerns, unusual behavior, or safety risks promptly to supervisors. Assist during emergencies or code situations by moving patients or bringing equipment. Support administrative tasks or front-desk coordination when required.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education:

Minimum 10th / 12th pass (Higher Secondary).

Certification:

Completion of a recognized

General Duty Assistant

/

Patient Care

/

Healthcare Attendant

course from a certified institute is mandatory.

Experience:

0-2 years of experience in hospitals, nursing homes, or healthcare facilities (freshers with relevant certification are welcome).

Basic knowledge of hygiene, infection control, and patient safety standards. Physical stamina and ability to work long shifts. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, disciplined, and patient-oriented mindset.
