Examine patients' teeth, gums, and related tissues using dental instruments, X-rays, or other diagnostic tools.
Diagnose and treat oral diseases such as tooth decay, gum disease, and other conditions.
Perform routine procedures including cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, and extractions.
Administer local anesthesia and perform surgical procedures when necessary.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, diet, and preventive dental care.
Develop treatment plans and discuss options with patients clearly and compassionately.
Maintain accurate patient records including treatment notes, diagnoses, and recommendations.
Stay up to date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education.
Supervise dental hygienists, assistants, and other support staff as needed.
