The General Manager will oversee the overall operations, strategic planning, and performance of the company. This role requires strong leadership, decision-making ability, operational excellence, and the capacity to build and lead high-performing teams. The GM will ensure efficient processes, drive business growth, maintain profitability, and uphold company standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals.
Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth.
Set performance targets for departments and monitor progress.
2. Operations Management
Oversee daily business operations across departments.
Ensure smooth workflow, adherence to policies, and quality standards.
Monitor budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures.
Improve operational efficiency and optimize resource utilization.
3. Team & People Management
Lead, mentor, and guide department heads and employees.
Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development.
Build a positive, productive, and professional work culture.
4. Customer & Client Relations
Maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and vendors.
Ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of issues.
5. Compliance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with business laws, safety norms, and company policies.
Prepare and review periodic business reports (sales, operations, finance).
Communicate business updates to management/directors.
6. Business Development
Identify new business opportunities and expansion areas.
Support marketing and sales teams to meet business objectives.
Represent the company at meetings, events, and negotiations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration/Management or related field.
Minimum
7-12 years
of experience in managerial or leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of business operations, finance, HR, and administration.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
