Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical

General Accountant / Financial Analyst

with

4+ years of experience

to support end-to-end accounting activities and financial reporting. The role involves close coordination with the

Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams

, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, audit support, and timely financial closure.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting activities including

journal entries, ledger maintenance, and financial postings

Coordinate closely with

Accounts Receivable (AR)

and

Accounts Payable (AP)

teams for accurate processing and reporting Perform

monthly/quarterly/yearly closing activities

and ensure timely completion Prepare and maintain

financial statements, reports, and analysis

for management review Conduct

bank reconciliations

, vendor/customer reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations Support internal and external

audits

, including documentation, schedules, and compliance requirements Ensure accurate recording of expenses, accruals, provisions, and revenue recognition (as applicable) Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis (preferred) Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years

of experience in accounting / finance roles (General Accounting / Financial Analyst) Strong knowledge of

accounting principles

, reconciliation, and financial reporting Experience in

auditing support, recording transactions, and maintaining books of accounts

Good understanding of

AR/AP processes

and inter-team coordination Proficiency in

MS Excel

(Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas) Experience working with

ERP/accounting software

(SAP / Oracle / Tally / Zoho / QuickBooks / NetSuite - any) Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com (or relevant qualification) Experience in

MIS reporting

, financial dashboards, or advanced analytics Exposure to GST/TDS/Taxation basics (if applicable)
