SNEHA (Society for Nutrition, Education and Health Action) is a Mumbai-based non-profit with over 450 staff, working to improve health and nutrition outcomes in urban slums. Through a life-cycle approach, SNEHA addresses key needs across adolescence, maternal and child health, family planning, and palliative care. Our programs empower vulnerable communities and partner with public health systems to ensure sustainable change.

Designation: Training Coordinator/ Training & Capacity Building Specialist/ Training Lead

Role: The role entails seeking out organizations for offering technical trainings to various government and non- government institutions, along with facilitating training through the SNEHA Academy, Partnerships and Scaling and Collaborations and Outreach components of the SNEHA Knowledge Centre.

Educational Requirement: MPhil/Master's degree in Gender Studies/ Women Development

Experience: At least 4 to 5 years of experience of training in gender

Location: Kripa Niwas, Road Number 31, Next to Trinity High School, near GTB station.

She will travel in different locations of India as per the training requests received by the program.

Travel within Mumbai and outside mandatory

for this role.

ABOUT THE ROLE


We are seeking a Training Coordinator to lead the training vertical of the

SNEHA Knowledge Centre (SKC)

. This role is central to designing, facilitating, and scaling high-quality training programs (online/offline) on

gender and violence prevention

for government, non-government, and academic partners across India.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Partnerships & Outreach

- Build and maintain relationships with institutions, explore scaling opportunities, conceptualize training plans.

Program Development

- Design, update and deliver engaging training content (online & offline), ensuring relevance and alignment.

Coordination & Logistics

- Manage training schedules, budgets, communication, and evaluations.

Training Facilitation

- Conduct workshops, courses, and partner trainings under SKC.

Documentation & Impact

- Maintain training records, prepare reports, collect feedback, and assess effectiveness.
