As a trainer, you'll upskill them in the fundamentals of how to prompt Generative AI tools and workplace readiness, equipping them with the tools, confidence, and resilience to succeed in a rapidly changing environment. Through interactive sessions, real-world examples, and a strong focus on soft & workplace skills, you'll help break barriers for the next generation of women leaders.

About Nimaya Foundation

Co-founded in 2021 by social entrepreneurs - Navya Naveli Nanda and Samyak Chakrabarty, Nimaya is a not-for-profit career accelerator for women with big dreams.

Our Guiding Question:

Why can't a rickshaw driver's daughter land a job at Google?

Unlike traditional skill-building NGOs, Nimaya is laser-focused on preparing women for the AI-powered digital economy not just with skills, but with aspiration and identity.

To date, Nimaya has empowered 3,900+ Nimaya Naaris across Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Haryana through partnerships with UN Women, Mumbai Police, SEWA, FICCI-FLO, and more.

Key Responsibilities

Aligned with Vision:

Teach GenAI tools and workplace skills to young women with barriers.

Simplify with Examples:

Trainer must understand AI tools well and explain them through everyday

workplace examples so learners can easily recall and apply.

Learning Outcomes:

Every session should ensure concept clarity and end with clear practical outcomes.

Bilingual Delivery:

Conduct sessions in Hindi and English, adapting language and pace to the learners' needs.

Adaptability:

Adjust teaching style based on learner participation and grasping ability, ensuring no one is left behind.

Storytelling Approach:

Use slides as guides, not scripts. Trainer should weave content into a story that connects with learners and makes concepts memorable.

Introduce tools

like ChatGPT, Canva, SlidesAI and more, in their classrooms and workplaces.

Leverage our proprietary curriculum

& content to deliver lessons on subjects such as critical thinking, creative problem solving and effective communication.

Support the team

with administrative aspects such as attendance, conducting assessments and enabling vlog shoots / live reporting of lessons.

Approach to Teaching & Methodology

Trainer should have a clear understanding of the learner profile and their needs. They must follow the session deck but deliver it through their own storytelling, without losing the key concepts. Prompting patterns should be taught step by step as in the deck: for example: role + goal + constraints, fact-checking, iterate-and-critique, translation/simplification, and safety checks. Examples should be prepared in advance, and all suggested prompts from the deck should be practiced before the session to ensure smooth delivery. Core tools include ChatGPT, Canva, SlidesAI, and Perplexity. Trainers must review and prepare each deck at least 5 days before the session and clarify doubts with the team if needed.

Requirements & Relevant Experience

Training Experience:

1-3 years of facilitating sessions with young adults or adults in NGOs, colleges, CSR programs, edtech, or similar settings.

GenAI Skills:

Strong grasp of tools like ChatGPT (prompt design), Canva (templates/exports), and SlidesAI, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for easy learner recall.

Teaching Approach:

Experience delivering bilingual workshops (Hindi and English), using role-plays, storytelling, and workplace examples to make learning practical and engaging.

Learner Focus:

Understanding of youth needs and learning styles, with flexibility to adapt sessions based on participation and grasping ability.

Cohort Management:

Comfortable handling cohorts of 50-60 learners, tracking progress, and maintaining attendance, portfolios, and assessments.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

Strong ability to build supportive learning environments, connect with learners, and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Organizational Skills:

Ability to prepare ahead of time, deliver multiple cohorts of training, and manage program needs effectively.

Availability:

In-person sessions across Mumbai centers, mainly on weekends, for 4 hours per day.
