Job Title: GenAI- Platform engineer
Location: Remote

Pay Range: 39 lpa- 45 lpa ( DOE)
Role Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer, with experience in GenAI and cloud- native systems, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building production platforms and services that enable data science teams to leverage GenAI capabilities at scale. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining the core infrastructure and service layers that power GenAI workflows across the organization. You will collaborate with data scientists and cross-functional teams to understand their needs and deliver reliable, scalable platform services that accelerate AI-driven business outcomes.
Job Experience Requirements:
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science / Software Engineering / related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in software engineering, platform development, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
o Strong proficiency in Python with experience building production-grade services and libraries
o Experience building production data systems (ETL / data processing / ML inference workflows)
o Cloud platform experience (AWS / GCP) including services like S3/GCS, Lambda/Cloud Functions, SQS/Pub-Sub, and managed databases
o Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker)
o Experience integrating LLM APIs (Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Vertex AI, Bedrock) into applications, including prompt engineering, token management, and error handling
o Practical experience developing CI/CD workflows - experience shipping code to production environments regularly
o Strong software engineering fundamentals: version control, code review, testing, and documentation
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to translate data science team needs into well- designed platform abstractions.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
o Kubernetes experience (EKS, GKE) - deploying, scaling, and troubleshooting containerized workloads
o Infrastructure-as-code familiarity (Terraform / Pulumi / CloudFormation)
o Vector database / RAG experience (Pinecone / Weaviate / pgvector, ChromaDB)
o Knowledge of Deep Learning techniques, model architectures, and parameter fine- tuning
o Familiarity with GenAI concepts including foundation models and transformer architecture o Experience with data manipulation and analysis using libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and SciPy o Experience with R or other statistical programming languages
Job Responsibilities:
Platform Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services and APIs that enable data scientists to integrate GenAI capabilities into their workflows.
Service Architecture: Architect and implement shared GenAI service layers - including LLM orchestration, prompt management, model routing, and inference pipelines - that the broader data science team can leverage.
Infrastructure & Reliability: Own the cloud infrastructure, containerization, and deployment pipelines that support GenAI workloads, ensuring high availability, observability, and cost efficiency.
Developer Experience:
Build well-documented SDKs, libraries, and tooling that make it easy for data scientists to consume platform services without deep infrastructure knowledge.
Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate them into robust platform features.
CI/CD & Operations: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring to ensure reliable, repeatable deployments of platform services to production.
Data Pipeline Support: Build and maintain ETL and data processing pipelines that feed into
GenAI services, ensuring data quality and integrity at scale.
