Gemologist Required for the upcoming Diamond Experience Centre at the largest Tanishq Boutique in North Eastern India.
Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Gemologist, located in Guwahati. The Gemologist will be responsible for evaluating and appraising gemstones, primarily diamonds, and studded jewelry. Day-to-day tasks include performing detailed analyses, identifying and grading diamonds with the help of modern equipment like lightscope etc. You will play a key role in maintaining quality assurance and customer satisfaction by providing expert evaluations and recommendations.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Expertise in Gemology, including gemstone identification, grading, and evaluation
Proficient in Jewelry Appraisal
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
A degree or certification in Gemology, such as GIA or equivalent, is preferred
Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with clients and team members
Prior experience in jewelry, gemstone, or related industries is an advantage
