GeM Portal Account Manager



Role Overview:


The GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Portal Account Manager acts as a key liaison between government buyers and suppliers/vendors registered on the GeM platform. This role involves managing relationships, ensuring smooth transactions, facilitating vendor onboarding, and providing support to maximize user satisfaction and platform efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:



Vendor Management:

Onboard new vendors and ensure they meet the required compliance and quality standards. Guide vendors in product listing, catalog management, and compliance with GeM policies. Resolve vendor issues related to registration, bidding, payments, or product listings.

Buyer Support:

Assist government buyers in navigating the portal, placing orders, and raising service requests. Provide timely support and resolve grievances related to purchases, payments, or delivery.

Account Growth & Engagement:

Identify opportunities to increase vendor participation and buyer engagement on the portal. Conduct outreach programs, training sessions, and workshops for vendors and buyers. Monitor vendor performance and recommend improvements for enhanced service quality.

Coordination & Reporting:

Coordinate with internal teams like IT, finance, and legal to address operational challenges. Prepare reports on account activity, transaction volumes, and user feedback for senior management.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

Ensure all transactions comply with GeM policies and government procurement norms. Monitor product/service quality and address non-compliance issues promptly.

Skills and Qualifications:



Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of government procurement processes and e-marketplace platforms. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. Problem-solving and customer service orientation. Basic technical knowledge of online portals and e-commerce systems. Experience in vendor management, sales, or account management is preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
