The GeM Operator/Executive will be responsible for handling the company's Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal operations, ensuring smooth online procurement activities, maintaining compliance with government procurement policies, and supporting business development through government projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all activities related to the GeM portal including registration, product/service listing, bid participation, order processing, and documentation.
Maintain up-to-date records of tenders, bids, and purchase orders on the GeM portal.
Respond promptly to government queries and address issues arising from the procurement process.
Coordinate with internal teams to gather required documentation for tenders and product submissions.
Monitor updates and changes in GeM policies and communicate relevant changes to management.
Ensure the timely upload of catalogues, pricing, and new products/services on the portal.
Prepare reports and MIS related to GeM activities on a weekly/monthly basis.
Adhere to all company and government compliance standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Graduate or equivalent; prior experience with GeM portal preferred.
Good computer literacy (MS Office, basic web operations).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle documentation.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Knowledge of government procurement processes is a plus.
