Position Overview
The
GeM Portal Leader
will be responsible for managing, strategizing, and optimizing Elcom Digital's presence on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform. This role involves leading a small team, ensuring compliance, driving revenue growth through tenders and bids, and maintaining strong relationships with government departments and procurement officers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all operations related to
GeM portal
management -- vendor registration, product listing, catalog management, and bid participation.
Identify and evaluate
new business opportunities
through GeM tenders and quotations.
Oversee the
end-to-end bid process
, including documentation, pricing strategy, submission, and follow-up.
Manage a team responsible for
data accuracy, order processing, and customer communication
on the GeM platform.
Ensure all listings, certifications, and documentation meet
GeM guidelines and compliance standards
.
Track and report
sales performance, bid outcomes, and pipeline opportunities
on a regular basis.
Liaise with
government departments
, PSUs, and agencies for order execution and support.
Stay updated on
policy changes, circulars, and new features
introduced by GeM to ensure competitive advantage.
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Technical) to ensure timely delivery and payment realization.
Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
7-12 years of experience
in GeM portal management, government e-procurement, or institutional sales.
Proven track record of handling
large-value bids and tenders
through GeM.
Strong understanding of
public procurement processes
, tender documentation, and compliance norms.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in
MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
and online procurement tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
