We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced GEM Marketplace Specialist to oversee our government e-marketplace operations. This role involves managing product listings, handling compliance and regulatory requirements, optimizing sales strategies, and fostering relationships with government buyers. Responsibilities:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced GEM Marketplace Specialist to oversee our government e-marketplace operations. This role involves managing product listings, handling compliance and regulatory requirements, optimizing sales strategies, and fostering relationships with government buyers. Responsibilities:
- Register and manage our product listings on the Government e-Marketplace (GEM).
- Ensure compliance with all GEM guidelines and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze marketplace performance metrics to optimize listings and increase sales.
- Develop and implement strategies for bidding and order fulfillment specific to government procurement.
- Liaise with government officials and buyers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Prepare reports on sales trends, forecasts, and marketplace growth opportunities.
- Stay updated with changes in government procurement policies and marketplace features.
- Proven experience in managing online marketplaces, preferably with direct experience on GEM.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and sales statistics for effective decision-making.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
- Experience in the footwear or manufacturing sector.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Familiarity with e-commerce strategies and digital marketing.
