Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
GeM Portal Expert
who can independently handle product listing, bid participation, catalogue management, and government order processing on the
Government e-Marketplace (GeM)
. The candidate should have hands-on experience with bidding, tender evaluation, compliance documentation, OEM processes, and catalogue updates.
Key Responsibilities
1. GeM Portal Management
Manage complete operations on GeM portal.
Create, update, and maintain product listings & service catalogues.
Ensure all listings meet GeM compliance guidelines.
2. Bid & Tender Participation
Identify relevant bids/tenders on GeM daily.
Do eligibility checks, document preparation, and cost evaluation.
Submit technical and financial bids independently.
Track bid status, clarifications, and respond to queries.
3. Documentation & Compliance
Prepare all tender-related documentation (company docs, tech specs, declarations, etc.)
Coordinate with management for approvals & pricing.
Ensure timely renewal/upload of certifications required on GeM.
4. Order Processing
Handle order acceptance, invoice uploading, and shipment creation.
Coordinate with logistics & dispatch teams for timely deliveries.
Manage RA (Reverse Auctions), PAC approvals & OEM processes.
5. Coordination & Communication
Communicate with government buyers for queries & clarifications.
Coordinate with internal teams for product, pricing, and delivery.
Maintain MIS reports on bids submitted, orders won, and ongoing work.
6. Compliance & Record Keeping
Maintain updated records of bids, POs, invoicing, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with all GeM rules, guidelines, and procurement norms.

Good understanding of government procurement processes*. Excellent skills in documentation, MS Excel, costing, and communication.
Ability to handle multiple bids and deadlines independently.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
furniture / manufacturing / trading
preferred.
Experience handling technical documentation & government tenders.
Knowledge of ERP, pricing structures, and taxation (GST).
Salary Range
As per industry standards (based on experience).
Performance incentives for winning bids (optional).
