? New Gear Part Development

? Setting & Programming. (Hamai preferred)

? Training operators on repeated settings

? Gear Hobbing Program Management

? Hob cutters Selection & Maintenance

? New Product Feasibility Review - Gear Parts

? Improvements in Gear Parts Production process - Rejection Control / Cycle time improvement / Poka Yoke etc.

? Coordinating with Internal & External Service Providers on Gear Hobbing tools, cutters, machine] maintenance issues

Required Competency

? Bachelor's / Post Graduation degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

?

Minimum 10 years

experienced in Production Management in a Tier 1 Manufacturing

Company for Automotive Industries - Gear Component Manufacturing

? Engineering Drawing Study

? Types of Gears, CNC (Hamai) & Manual (Koepfer) Gear Hobbing Processes

? Calculation of Gear Diameter, Hob Shift Value

? Gear Hobbing Programming

? Gear Skiving Processes

? OD& Root Dia Checking Methods

? Gear Lead Profile Inspection

? Hob Selection & Hob Regrinding

? Excellent Interpersonal, communication skill

? Proficient in MS Excel.

? Knowledgeable on IATF16949 Requirements - 8D, 4M, CSR, KPIs (Preferred)
