Role Overview

We are urgently hiring a dedicated

GCSE Chemistry Tutor

for

one-on-one online classes

. This role is for candidates who are able to teach

exclusively

at the fixed time below. Please apply only if you can commit to this timing.

Fixed Class Timing (mandatory):

10:30 PM - 12:30 AM IST

(evening/night slot) -- Candidates who are NOT available at this time should not apply.

Pay:

?600 per hour (one-on-one online)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, concept-based GCSE Chemistry lessons (theory and practical application). Plan lesson sequences aligned to the GCSE syllabus and exam specifications. Provide exam strategy, past-paper practice, and marking-style feedback. Track student progress and provide brief progress reports after regular intervals. Maintain punctuality, professional conduct, and timely communication with the academy.

Requirements

Mandatory:

Proven experience teaching

GCSE Chemistry

(Cambridge/Edexcel/OCR) -- show examples in CV.
? Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with GCSE exam formats and marking schemes.
? Able to teach online effectively (comfortable with digital whiteboard platforms).
? Reliable internet connection and quiet teaching environment.
? Preferred: digital pen/tablet for clear worked-out solutions (not mandatory).
? Professional, student-focused approach and good English communication skills.
