GCP Data Engineer (Data Mesh)
Experience: 6-8 yrs
Notice Period: 30 Days
Mandatory Skills: Advance SQL, Data Engineer, Data Mesh OR Data Products OR Assets, Domain Owned data set, API(JSON, Schemas, Error Handling) used to merge Data Sources & Data Interfaces
Preferred Skills: GCP & Bigquery, Reporting tool (Jasper, BIRT)
Job location: Pune, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad

1. Experience working in a data-mesh-like or federated data model, where data is owned by domains, treated as a product, and delivered with clear ownership, SLAs, and quality expectations
2. Strong hands-on SQL experience, including complex transformations, aggregations, window functions, and performance tuning, with a mindset of building reusable, report-ready datasets rather than one-off extracts
3. Experience working with business-aligned datasets or domains, with clear ownership, data quality responsibility, and an understanding of downstream reporting/consumption needs (Jasper / BIRT or similar)
4. Practical experience consuming and producing data via APIs, with an understanding of schemas, data contracts, reconciliation logic, and failure handling
5. Exposure to cloud data platforms, preferably GCP (BigQuery, GCS, basic IAM), with an ability to design scalable and cost-aware data models
