Department Profile: Global Banking Services (GBS) resides within the Shared Services and Banking Operations Department. The team currently operates as a global unit with extensive communication between the various GBS teams, are currently located in Glasgow, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Mumbai. The GBS Due Diligence (GBS DD) teams core responsibilities include managing Firm\'s selected external agent bank network and performing ongoing Due Diligence in line with global regulatory requirements. The Due Diligence Team was created in March 2015, and operates as a centre of excellence for Due Diligence. The team are responsible for performing due diligence across the firm\'s network of agent banks, CCP\'s, CSD\'s, iCSD\'s and cash agent banks. This involves documenting how Client\'s exercise due skill, care and diligence in both the initial selection, and ongoing annual review of our custody providers. This is in directly relation to a variety of Global Regulations including but not limited to CASS, 15C3, AIFMD, OCC, CFTC. Primary Responsibilities: . Collation and distribution of Due Diligence Questionnaires to external agent banks on an annual basis. . Performing ongoing analysis of the Firm\'s custody providers, through annual due diligence reporting based on external due diligence questionnaires, credit analysis and internal evaluations. . Creation and distribution of Monthly Reporting (Watchlist, Metrics and Reporting). . Understand and ensure adherence with the Firm\'s regulatory obligations for Due Diligence, and the segregation and security of client assets throughout the agent bank network. . Regular communication with internal and external clients to present and answer questions on market regulation, operational processes and asset safety. . Stakeholder management with a range of key areas, including Legal, Compliance, Credit, Business Continuity Team, ORC Client Money. . Perform analysis of new regulations to assess the impact upon the GBS Due Diligence team, and implement new frameworks to satisfy these regulations. . Conduct scoping reviews to ensure that our population of providers in scope for Due Diligence is accurate. . Continual review and enhancement of the Due Diligence Risk Framework and Supervisory process. . Ensuring the sustainability of the Change the bank culture within the team, and continuing to strive to seek out operational efficiencies. Skills Required (essential): . The successful candidate will be a graduate with at least 4+ years relevant work experience . GBS is a relatively small team covering a broad internal client base and product set, so flexibility and an ability to work collaboratively across geographic locations are essential qualities. Additionally, GBS team is also responsible for the opening and closure of custody and clearing bank accounts held at external agent banks, and own the creation and ongoing review of Regulatory documentation associated with bank account openings, including Client Money letters, Asset Segregation letters and Good Control Location Letters. This broad remit covers the full spectrum of Client\'s entities across all markets. Such scope provides a dynamic, ever changing backdrop for an exciting role involving collaboration across multiple Business Units and Ops teams.
