Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate

Gastroenterologist

to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with gastrointestinal (GI) disorders. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the digestive system, perform endoscopic procedures, and provide both inpatient and outpatient care. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality and personalized patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests including colonoscopies, endoscopies, and biopsies Perform therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as polypectomy, variceal banding, dilation, etc. Develop and manage treatment plans for patients with chronic GI conditions (e.g., IBD, IBS, GERD, hepatitis) Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and primary care physicians Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulations Educate patients on preventive care and lifestyle modifications Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education Provide on-call coverage as needed

Qualifications:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Board certification or board eligibility in Gastroenterology Valid and unrestricted medical license in the practicing state Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology Proficiency in performing GI procedures and interpreting diagnostic results Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based medicine

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with advanced endoscopic procedures (e.g., ERCP, EUS) Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems Research experience or interest in academic teaching (if applicable)

Work Environment & Schedule:

Hospital, outpatient clinic, or specialty medical center May involve evening, weekend, or on-call responsibilities
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per month
