About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive

Garment Merchandiser

to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end merchandising process -- from product development to final shipment -- ensuring on-time delivery, quality control, and smooth communication between buyers, suppliers, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and factories on product design, fabric selection, and order details. Monitor the entire production cycle: sampling, approvals, production, and shipment. Prepare and manage Time & Action (T&A) calendars to ensure deadlines are met. Follow up on lab dips, trims, fabric quality, and fit samples for buyer approval. Communicate daily with vendors to track production status and resolve issues. Ensure all garments meet buyer specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements. Work closely with the quality control team for inspections and final audits. Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and order quantities to maintain profitability. Maintain accurate records of orders, approvals, and production reports.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in

Textile, Fashion Merchandising, or Apparel Production

.

2-5 years

of experience in garment merchandising or apparel sourcing. Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and production processes. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficient in

MS Office, Excel, and ERP/Merchandising software

. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Experience with international buyers or export markets. Knowledge of cost sheets, consumption calculation, and vendor management.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
