JOB DESCRIPTION

Garment Product Merchandiser

Location: Ahmedabad

Brand: Raa Vedic (Women's Ethnic Wear)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a hands-on Garment Product Merchandiser who can manage product lifecycle from sampling to dispatch, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and ensure timely execution with accuracy.

This is an execution-heavy role, not a strategy or leadership position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product & Sampling

Coordinate with fabric vendors, printers, and job workers for sampling

Track sampling status, approvals, and revisions

Maintain design-wise product details (fabric, print, costing, MOQ)

Production & Vendor Coordination

Follow up with vendors for fabric, trims, and production timelines

Track production status and flag delays proactively

Ensure quality checkpoints as per brand standards

Costing & Documentation

Maintain design-wise costing sheets

Update purchase orders, challans, and basic production documents

Support price finalisation with accurate data

Dispatch & Warehouse Coordination

Coordinate with warehouse for inward, outward, and dispatch planning

Ensure correct quantities, sizes, and styles are dispatched

Maintain basic stock movement records

Reporting & MIS

Prepare and share weekly status reports (sampling, production, dispatch)

Maintain clean and updated Excel sheets

SKILLS REQUIRED (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP / basic formulas / sheets handling)

Good follow-up and coordination skills

Understanding of garment production flow

Ability to work with multiple vendors simultaneously

Calm, organised, and detail-oriented nature

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

2-5 years experience in garment merchandising / product merchandising

Experience in women's ethnic wear preferred

NIFT / FDDI / Pearl / relevant fashion education is a plus (not mandatory)

SALARY & STRUCTURE

Salary: ₹30,000 - ?45,000 per month (based on skill & experience)

First 30 days will be a paid trial period

Confirmation based purely on performance and output

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,531.94 - ₹43,284.50 per month
